a love letter to my shadow side

Our shadow side. aka the part of us that we want to keep hidden. aka our flaws.It’s the part of me that I don’t ever want to acknowledge. I just want to pretend it doesn’t exist. However, if that side of me weren’t there, I wouldn’t be wholly me. My whole self is worth celebrating. My entire being deserves to be loved. So, oftentimes I write a letter to that part of me I want to keep hidden. A letter telling how much I love her and how much I appreciate her. This colorful abstract is symbolic of the love letters we must write to whole selves, telling them how much we love them.
